Gifts Of Hope is an alternative gift-giving program in the SC Synod (ELCA). This Christmas give gifts to family and
friends that really matter…Give Hope. For your shopping pleasure, this catalog contains 38 unique gifts priced from $4 to $250 that give hope to others. The gifts in this catalog are represented by Institutions and Social Ministry Organizations affliated with the SC Synod, ELCA, as well as the SC Synod’s companion synods.

For each gift you purchase, you receive two items – a gift card and an insert describing your chosen gift – which you give to your friend or family member. The actual gift will be delivered by the designated organization or institution to the beneficiary (for example, give a 24 hour well-deserved break for family caregivers or food for a refugee family). Gifts Of Hope is operated totally by volunteers from throughout the SC Synod, ELCA. Every penny received goes directly to the beneficiary organizations.

Whether you give Gifts Of Hope to share your faith and blessings, to advocate for a simpler lifestyle, to enjoy matching your purchases to the interest of those you present with the gifts, for convenience – or for all these reasons, we thank you for participating in this program to give hope to someone who really needs it.
